The Jones Snowboards team is starting to reap the rewards of all their hard work last winter. New shots of the team riders are popping in the magazines each month. Forrest Shearer led things off with a shot from Utah by Noah Howell in the Winter 2011 Patagonia catalog.
Ralph Backstrom scored a couple shots from around Lake Tahoe in the new backcountry snowboarding magazine Kronicle. The first issue of Kronicle just hit the news stands and features most of the Jones team riders in action including an interview with Luca Pandolfi and a gallery spread of Jeremy Jones ripping a line in the High Sierra. Ryland Bell was also in the Winter 2011 Patagonia catalog with a rad shot from the Spine Institute, Fairweather Range, AK by Tero Repo.
Jeremy Jones’ epic shred trip to Svalbard, Norway with Terje was one of the featured stories in the November 2011 issue of Transworld Snowboarding. While keeping an eye out for man-eating polar bears, Jones and Terje rode all-time couloirs like the one in this shot by Dan Milner. Dave Short was honored with an interview in Snowboard Canada mag which included this shot by Russel Dalby. The Whistler maverick also scored a gallery shot by Dalby in the November 2011 issue of Snowboard Mag.
