Jones ambassador Yuta Watanabe is no stranger to deep pow and big lines. He splits his winters between Whistler and Japan. Last May, Yuta visited Alaska for the first time. He and a small crew including Jundai Nakashio and Tempei Takeuchi, set up a backcountry base camp outside of Haines using a plane drop from the legendary Drake Olson. Check out their video edit from the trip below. It’s an impressive edit by any standard and especially for a crew who had never been to Alaska.
