Until you’ve seen the Mont Blanc massif with your own eyes it is tough to comprehend either the scale or the sheer ridiculousness of the terrain. The towering summits above Chamonix are not only of near Himalayan proportions, but they look absolutely terrifying on first glance. Without a trained eye, even the mellow lines look burly and the test piece lines, well, they look like death wishes.

Thankfully, looks are deceiving on the Mont Blanc massif. The massif holds stunning, but readily shreddable terrain including moderate glacial tours, steep clean couloirs, and of course, next-level technical lines. Jones riders Julien ’Pica’ Herry and Luca Pandolfi call Chamonix home and all the massif is their playground. They make riding around the massif look easy and it’s truly a sight to behold.
