Lightweight and sizing is true to fit and really dialed in all aspects. Hood fits nicely over helmet. For the PNW climate this jacket is unbeatable! Holds up well on the snomobile too. The oversized angled chest pockets are ideal for storing skins just dont leave small items in there as they can easily fall out. I wish they would make this in a hunters orange color!

The design and fit look great, but it’s honestly ironic to see a jacket marketed as THE most 'durable' and 'extreme' fail in such a trivial way. After fewer than ten days of resort-only use, I discovered that a simple snack bar in the front pocket had pushed through and torn the pocket seam.
Seems like the construction and stitching has some problems. The way the fabrics are joined simply doesn’t live up to the level of the premium material or the premium price this jacket commands. High-end coatings deserve equally high-end build quality, and that’s where this product falls short.

Purchased from Rave Wave, and unfortunately the warranty support has been disappointing so far.

Love this jacket & I bought the XXL version as I like a baggy fit & maximum length so that the jacket gives a bit more protection in feisty weather or while sitting on the snow. The Gore tex repels water amazingly! It could have done with a few extra pockets, plus some sleeve guards to stop snow & cold venturing in, but overall a brilliant jacket!👍

Love how much protection I get from the elements from the jacket but it is also not super heavy. Big chest pockets are in the perfect spot.

Storm proof. A really techy jacket, light and breathable, but one that you don't feel like a nerd wearing.

This jacket is my everyday favorite! It’s light and packable but also warm and waterproof. A solid choice for a shell for all conditions.

Extremely water proof, the jacket will sometimes look really wet but nothing soaks all the way through. Very breathable, I took it on many boot packs and skin tracks. I was surprised how light it is, it’s my lightest shell by far. Very durable and stylish!

Really great jacket, tough and durable yet super light weight and packable. Gets lots of compliments and is incredibly well thought out with the design. My only wish is that there were snaps to keep the ends of the powder skirt up while not being used and that the length of the jacket was just a touch longer.

Great jacket and I can tell it will last me years.
The jacket fits very roomy and has great articulation for splitboarding and in resort riding.
Has great pocket access while wearing a backpack and nice little design features.
I think there’s room for improvement though:
Needs two way pit zips and main zipper.
Fit is a touch too long (I’m 5 10) bending over the jacket seems to lip up instead of staying down.
Removable power skirt would be A++ as I wear these with the jones bib. The powder skirt also buckles the wrong way and has two extra buttons (that I probably don’t understand that’s they at for)

I have a handful of tours now with this jacket and I can say it is excellent. It's extremely water proof and very breathable. It also has a Great athletic fit. If you are going to get a jacket this is it. It's pricey but well worth it. Do not buy the Shralpinst 3L, only get the gore-tex pro. I'm 6 feet and 180 and I got a large.

I think 2-way pit zips are essential, they are nearly impossible to close on the move. I’ve had to take my jacket off and ask a buddy for help in the same day. Wore an Arc Teryx jacket the following day and had no issues.

Great jacket. Very happy with it.
Only thing to improve is the connection to the pants. A real snowshield with a solid connection to the pants would maybe prevent snow better from getting into your underwear on rare occasions. Gaiters for the sleeves are not necessary because all my shirts have it but may come handy sometimes.

This is a great jacket. Clearly well made and serves its purpose. Size seems to run a little big. My only drawback so far is the zippers, especially the pit zips. They are nearly impossible to close when cold or with a backpack on. They should be two way zip, or at a minimum close when zipping down, not up - like most pit zips. As a touring jacket it would also be nice if the front zipper was two way. Always comes in handy during those long backcountry/touring days. Lastly, general waist pockets would be nice. That’s always where I keep my hand warmers. Other than that, this is a great jacket - functional and well made!

Super light and keep myself at the right temperature . My dau on the resort are easier and i can reach more pow cause im not to warm . The thing i dont like its i needed an XL instead of a large cause i have wide shoulder and lats so the sleeve are ton long and the bottom to wide . But in general i love it first time i treat myself with good snowboarding gear

Go to jacket for the backcountry or snowy days on the mountain. Great for windy summits, wet snow days and powder runs. I am 5’10, I prefer a medium jacket with large pants.

This jacket is the most durable and waterproof jacket I have owned! Perfect for riding wet/rainy resort at Mt. Baker, or splitboarding around the backcountry. It is truly hard to beat the Gore-Tex Pro.

The sizing fit is not too baggy, not too snug, just a great overall fit made for snowboarding!!!

Does just what it should. But would like to see a storm flap behind front enclosure for more wind, water, and snow resistance. What’s the purpose of full gore Tex if the above gets thru?

I use this shell in the backcountry. Its easy shed and pack up when skinning up and warm and dry on the way down. Very high quality jacket.

It fits tight in the shoulders and chest, so I opted for an XL when I’m usually a L. It ends up being long in the sleeve, but I wouldn’t be able to move my arms if I added layers in the large. 6’ 180 lbs. The pants fit true to size in a large.
