A snowboard's outline defines many of its characteristics, from how it turns or floats in powder to its performance riding switch. Shape affects everything from the width and taper of the nose and tail, to the position of the stance relative to the board's center.

Freeride focused 3D Contour Base featuring 7mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 0-7mm of spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts just before the contact points.
When riding flat, the spoon bevel on the edges is not engaged, but it does help smoothly deflect snow away from the nose of the board.
As you begin to make a turn, the spoon bevel helps you smoothly roll the board on to your egde with less friction and edge drag.
In the middle of a turn, camber and Traction Tech keep you locked onto your egde in the center of the board while the spoon bevel reduces the "plow effect" of your nose and tail edges.

Best board I’ve ever ridden!
Just come back from 8 days riding in the French Alps with a brand new stratos 164w and I was incredible. Edge control was perfect and the board was unreal in fresh powder. We were lucky to have big dumps of powder most of the week and this board was perfect for this, so floaty, fun to ride and didn’t let me down once. 100% the best board I’ve ever ridden and so happy with my purchase 👌

I got into skiing after decades of skiing so this may not be the usual review.
I went to snowboard tests looking for a board that would pull my technique upwards. My short list based on reviews and tests was Jones Frontier and Mind Expander. Trying those first I totally loved how comfortable and easy they seemed but did not feel like I was getting challenged in any way. I think that skiing stiff groomer skis got me used to a certain feeling under my feet, a feeling that I am also seeking in boards. So the specialists at the Jones stand told me that I may try some stiffer boards and I got to test the Flagship and the Stratos. That was the exact feeling under foot that I was looking for: stable, reliable, dump, aggressive, while at the same time playful and not at all punishing.
So I ordered the Jones Stratos, which I perceived as more playful and now had it for about a month. The board is beyond expectations. Not only that it is playful and versatile but it actually corrects technique mistakes due to its strong, reliable tail and fantastic grip on ice. It does short, medium and long turns with ease, slow or high speed equally well, carves on groomers like a dream, and there doesn’t seem to be a limit to how aggressive it can be, while at the same time enjoying a relaxed, casual ride, if so wanted. I tested it in powder, too, approx. 30-40cm of fresh snow and I did not move the bindings towards the back at all and still floated very nicely, no nose dive at all.

Absolutely loooove my stratos! Versatile, behaves great in both the NE icy pitches and occasionnal pow days. My first upgraded board since I started snowboarding 4 years ago on a rocker-camber. I was afraid to edge-cut my life with a camber-rocker, but the spoons make it so easy to transition between turns despite the camber.
I bought the stratos splitboard last winter and was thrilled right away. Before that I rode the solution, which is also a dream board and the amplid milligramm and surf. But the stratos is a bit more playful and therefore much more diverse. After I also needed a new snowboard, I bought the stratos as a solid board and I am more than satisfied. With a size of 179cm and 75kg, 159 is perfect for me.
Upgraded from mountain twin to stratos. So excited looking forward to roll with this combo beast with the Orion bindings. Premium material
Super happy with the Board - was looking for something between my MTN TWIN and Flagship. And the Stratos delivers! Stiff flex, Taper, Directional, swallow tail - It carvs really well, nice float in powder and its still slashy/turn friendly in moguls.
But it is for sure a stiff board, for me it was exactly what I was looking for - I'm a big and heavy rider (6,1 foot, 220 lbs) - and my MTN TWIN in 162 just wouldn't support me enough, once I go fast. Super happy with the STRATOS in 164 Wide. Recommend!
