Light weight, with good grip, shed snow in wet sticky conditions, and attached easily. Loved not having to trim them!

Great not having to cut the skins and having them pre cut 🫶🏼

I like the glide of my skins and that they are easy to handle and quite light. The grip is also very good on most terrain. It is my second pair now. I really like Jones, but I am not sure I’ll buy the exact same thing next time.

First, I think I’d rather cut the skins by my own to try having a « tighter » fit close to edges, which would be quite critical on icy and technical terrain. With the current fit, I find that edges sometime miss to grip to the snow when it is packed and can result in surprising falls. I know it is also all about the technic, but after having tried other setups, I realized this is something I wanted for my next one. However, that could be easily fix with buying uncut skins. Second, I am concernes about the durability of the skins. The attaches seem solid, but the glue has started to stick to my board (freshly waxed) during the second season only. It is concerning, especially as I often do multiday trips. My partner, who does the same amount of trips, does not have this problem with his skins. I also don’t have this problem with my ski skins. It happened to me with my 2 pairs of Jones Nomad Precut (A and B) for my splitboards. I live in the Pacific West Coast with wet/mild climate.

Glopped on my first time out. After three outings the edges of the skin were pretty frayed, I don’t like the idea of nylon coming off in bits as I walk around the wilderness. The skins were also a little wide, my edges don’t show on one side when applied, even when I follow one edge closely during application. I like the tail clip design, which influenced my purchase of them. Packs smaller with the small clip. A bit disappointed with the overall quality with how expensive they were. Had I known I would’ve just purchased the tail clip kit and put them on other skins.

I'm a newbie to splitboarding, so not sure yet I haven't used them yet

So far so good except a one design flaw in regards to the cut and/or clip orientation.

First, I will acknowledge the challenge in getting a skin to properly fit onto an assymetrical ski (splitboard half). If you ski you likely never deal with such frustrating nose clips that aren't well aligned (because skis are generally symmetrical) but if you're Jones you should know how to make a skin.

Check out the photos but basically I wish the plastic portion of the nose clip was set into a position on the metal clip in such a way that the skin is aligned by default. Instead, the plastic piece is set in the middle of the metal clip which is not the position that creates equal tension between both edges of the skin upon installing the tail clip.

In one photo you'll see the default (centered) position on the nose clip. It creates slack on the inside edge of the skin which is very problematic.

In the other photo you'll see the nose clip which I've forced to slide into the position that creates equal tension across both edges of the skin. This will work fine but now the clip slides back and forth so it takes one extra step to align the skin.

Note, as designed there is a slight ridge on the metal tip piece that keeps the plastic portion centered. They can position this ridge so the tip connector is in the proper place from the get go.

Excellent grip on steep terrain. Only used once thus far, we will see how they hold up in the long run.

Loving my new Stratos 159 Splitboard. Floating like a boat and still holds an edge pretty good for a split. Enjoying the Pop the board gives me and with that short tail it is nimble for areas you need it to be! I‘m 180cm 75kg and ride the 159cm

These skins are light and compact. The glue is decent but will occasionally not stick and pocket in the front on a well waxed board. The glide is just bad. They won't even slide down hill. Probably worth it because they are cut to size, light, and have the quick tension tail clip. Black diamond skins offer far more glide and slightly better grip but they are heavy and their glue glops up after one year. So I guess I will stick with Jones for now.

Love these skins, Very good quality. I would say slightly less glide then my G3 skins, but they seem much more durable. The precut size fits perfectly on my solution, and the tail hooks are so quick and easy. Highly recommended if you can afford the price.

Ho acquistato queste pelli in abbinamento ad una Solution 162W. Avevo già provato pelli marchiate Pomoca su altre splitboard ma questo modello sono in assoluto le migliori mai provate. Innanzitutto arrivano pretagliate e sono perfette sulla tavola, lasciando il giusto spazio tra la pelle e la lamina. Sono facilissime da applicare e con il clip di coda sarete tranquilli che non si staccheranno fino a che non lo vorrete. La colla ha una ottima presa ma è altrettanto semplice rimuovere la pelle una volta in cima. Personalmente poi le piego su se stesse colla contro colla ed una volta a casa le faccio asciugare prima di riporle per la prossima gita. Il grip é eccellente ( le trovo migliori rispetto ad esempio alle pomoca climb gialle) ed anche la scorrevolezza non é male. Consiglierei assolutamente di acquistare queste pelli sia per principianti che per esperti.

Best in the game. Easy on easy off. Amazing traction while climbing. Stay sticky on base all day.

I ordered the jones nomad precut skins. They arrived on time and look like they will work great! Now we just NEED SNOW!

I also got a hover board 160. I absolutely love it. These skins are cut perfectly, they cover as much of the board as possible.

The clip system is simple and reliable. Once you set length the tail clip is easy to operate even with gloves. They are light enough to not notice, they grip like you wouldn’t believe and glide well too.

You can’t go wrong with any Jones product. If you’re skeptical, try them out and let them prove me right!

These skins glide amazing and grip when she gets steep and the heel risers are full tilt. The tail clip makes transitions easy and secure.

I love them, Incredible glide, good grip, the cut on them is perfect, and the quick clip attachment is easier than I ever imagined putting a tail clip on could be.
