Just about perfect pack for shredding adventures

I've used the Dscnt 25L a handful of days so far at several resorts in variable conditions. Easily the most comfortable and functional pack I've ever used for riding. It sits amazingly well against the body and the back is nicely padded with adjustable straps for shoulders and waist plus the upper load-bearing straps, so it's very ergonomic even when carrying a board. Quality is outstanding and design is top-notch (e.g., all the straps have velcro or elastic to hold them in place so they don't flap around). My only complaint is the zippers for the waist belt pockets are hard to close when fully opened, as the pockets open pretty wide (which is good) but the zipper is curved at the end which is hard to close especially one-handed. The 5 Avy Warning Signs and related info are printed right inside the bag for quick reference. POW!

High quality, technical backpack

Great backpack. Perfect size for snowboarding but also for cycling due to the low profile.
Lots of options for connections and pockets - even fits my laptop in the back compartment for work if needed.

Not used it in the rain/snow yet but will be trying it soon!

Would love some color options for this one

Nearly perfect

This pack is nearly perfect for full day tours. I’d say a 4.8./5 They only missing thing is a dedicated area/ piece of fabric on the left shoulder strap to clip on a radio. Also the zippers on the waist belt pockets/ storage could be modified so the don’t curve as much or perhaps make the opening a little smaller with straighter zippers. When the pockets are zipped all the way open they can be very challenging to close when wearing the pack. They get “stuck” open. Besides that It’s the most comfortable, ergonomic , user friendly pack I’ve ever owned.

More Sizes

I'm 6'3" with a long torso and the pack was not long enough for the hip belt to reach my hips. Additional pack sizes may be needed for future models. Thanks.

Perfect Backpack

Really nice backpack, both for its look and its features. I haven't used it yet for a backcountry day, but it looks very comfortable and functional, everything looks thought in every detail. I think I'll use it also in the city to carry my skate. I really recommend it.

Arguably the best backpack out

Arguably the best backpack out there. I absolutely loved it. It was comfortable and was able to carry everything I would need on the mountain. One thing I would like to say is that backpacks like this is not for small resorts. Just not necessary if you aren’t going on huge runs.

Stupendous

Fantastic multi-purpose backpack, great for day expeditions. Low profile makes for comfortable ride-ability, great storage management options to prevent any unwanted bulking. Historically I’ve hated riding with a backpack until now!

Almost perfect

Practically perfect in every way. But if you had a 3rd hook attachment on the helmet holder (rather than 2) then it would allow for the helmet to be strapped on even with a regular board strapped to the rucksack. With 2, helmet has to be strapped to the board. Or I guess I need a splitboard haha.

Otherwise, great pack. Avi kit fits in super easy (ortovox bundle), well organised (unlike some packs that make accessing the avi kit awkward). Plenty of pockets and pouches to keep the rest of the gear organised and accessible.

Appreciate the avi info guides as having it written down will help keep heads cool if the worst does occur (no substitute for training obviously!)

Real sturdy and overall high quality piece of kit. I love the pockets on the hip strap too! Great for putting easy access snack in.

Considering all this. V reasonable price point.

Great Pack

This pack has thoughtful, well designed, no frills practical features that would support any backcountry setting, including glacier travel and splitboard mountaineering. The pack is very easy to use and the features are intuitive. What really struck me about the pack was how well it carries a load. One day, I loaded it up with avie tools, a few liters of water and layers. Hoisting it into the car on the way out the door I thought "jeez this is a heavy pack." About thirty minutes into the skin, I couldn't believe it was the same pack I left the house with! It just balanced so well on my back.

I appreciate this pack so much, I also use it for mountain biking also because it balances load better than any other pack I own. Thank you Jones!

This pack is almost there...

The biggest flaw of this pack IMHO is the lack of actual zipper tabs on ALL zippers. This requires that TWO HANDS be used for opening and closing zippers while pulling cord rather than pulling an actual zipper tab.

Versatile and comfortable

I've taken the pack out in the preseason about a dozen times so far. I love the well thought out connection points and how balanced the pack is. Carried in both board and A-frame mode and had no problems with the pack full or empty. I'm very happy with this pack!

'Murica!

Glad you are digging your pack!
