The Jones Ultralight Series is a new collection of cutting edge splitboards for those adventures that demand bringing lightweight gear to maximize your muscle power. All four of the Ultralight models offer the perfect balance of performance vs weight and are made for expert backcountry riders who break trail and rip lines in the most challenging and complex terrain around.
The Ultralight series is defined by our desire to constantly improve the performance of our boards by redefining what it takes to build a board. We test every inch of every model to precisely position materials exactly where they are needed, while eliminating all excess materials.
Combining these innovative construction techniques with state-of-the-art cores, stringers, bases and topsheets delivers revolutionary results.

Ultralight Hovercraft Split 2.0
The Ultralight Hovercraft 2.0 Split is the lightest split in the Jones line and designed for expeditions and high alpine assaults. Featuring a tapered directional shape and a long sidecut, it charges in any snow and offers surprisingly diverse performance for its compact size.

- Floaty nose, compact tail for nimble maneuverability.
- Directional rocker profile and long sidecut for stability at speed.
- 12mm of spoon bevel in the nose for improved glide.

The Ultralight Hovercraft Split feels light underfoot when you’re skinning, but I really notice the weight savings bootpacking. When you strap it to your back it feels way lighter than a standard split.

Ultralight Butterfly Split
The Ultralight Butterfly Split is the most advanced split we’ve ever produced. It’s made for high alpine pursuits where the balance of weight and performance are hyper critical. By reducing the tip and tail size, but keeping the contact points pushed out, the Butterfly has a super long effective edge which maximizes edge power in variable alpine conditions.

Ultralight Stratos Split is my favorite board for adventure. I personally love this board for making difficult or scary situations manageable. This summer in Argentina I had a lot to learn in terms of splitboarding icy and unforgiven terrain, the Ultralight Stratos Split was my saving grace.

I’d go anywhere with the Ultralight Solution. Simply the best splitboard I’ve ever used. Great for uphill and when riding, holds speed so well. I also love the fact that I can trust the board in any conditions.
