Ash Wood Veneer

Lightweight and super damp Ash wood veneer topsheet layer that eliminates edge chatter and delivers even flex and supreme torsional stiffness.

Sintered 8000 Base

Premium sintered base material that’s ultra fast, highly wax absorbent, easy to repair and proven to be one of the most durable and long lasting base materials in the industry

Fast, stable and poppy. Watch waist width size.

I'm 46yo, 5"8/ 165 athletic, riding 75+ days/season on average for the last 25 years, mostly steep backcountry in France, Switzerland and some Japan pow.
I got a 24" 154 6000. This thing is a little rocket that loves bombing. It's fairly stiff, has some weight to it, but is very lively, and has insane pop at any pace. Three things you need to know about this board: it'll whisper "faster faster"in your ears. For me it didn't end up very well with a 78km/h collision with a skier. Miraculously, nothing broken. It taught me to become more responsible. You've been warned :) Second thing: it's wide AF. I've got 8.5US boots, and even on step-ons that make all my other boards feel super responsive edge to edge compared to normal bindings, this feels very wide and requires "planning" ahead of turning. It's a skill when you go as fast as the board is made for. Now don't get me wrong it'll turn very well and pivot quickly, but the width always feels present, and kinda take some spontaneity out of the equation. On the other hand, it very stable flat based. I see there's a narrow version this year (25-26). That'll be the one for me. Last thing to know: it loves being in the air. Seriously, it pops off everything and makes you want to ollie everything at full tilt. In my opinion it pops even harder than my other Jones boards the Project x and FS Pro (left a review of those too). I also have an Amplid Project 20 (called Time Machine for 25-26) and while the Amplid is lighter, more versatile and feels a bit more lively while being super damp for the weight, the FC6000 is even damper and has more pop! I guess the weight doesn't hurt here. I can't wait to try it in Narrow version. It's just a go to for early groomer carnage in between pow days.

Get one now!

Never got onto the freestyle train. I followed master carvers Peter Bauer and Jean Nerva early on. Got hooked on carving the Burton M6, PJ 7, and the Alp line.

The 6000 is a carving experience that surpasses all of those of course. Great edge hold, quick turning, and was plenty fun in the pow side stashes.

Very tempted to get the 9000 also for next winter.

I have a background in

I have a background in hard boots and I love the feeling that board giving me. I am able to link carve turn and push it. It’s like a soft hard boots board. The turn size is short and quick.

An excellent board for days with no fresh snow

This board is a lot of fun when there's no fresh snow. On groomers, it's awesome to carve on. With variable snow, it holds an edge and delivers precision control. The 6000 wants to be doing tighter carves, but can be placed on longer lines too. It's a carving board that doesn't need to carve. It's easy to open it up on less steep runs, but feels in control jump turning down steeps. The Freecarver 6000 is user friendly and can handle diverse turns, unlike something like a Korua Bullet Train.

So much fun!

This was the first time I'd bought a board without trying it in a long time. It's an incredibly fun board to ride, the edge grip is phenomenal, and it's really quick edge to edge (especially for such a wide board). Highly recommended, I'd love to try the 9000 some day!

Jones Freecarver 6000S with Mercury bindings. . Best board I ever had for carving!

This is by far the best board I ever had for carving and I’ve been snowboarding since the early 90s. The board just rails turns and goes exactly where you want it to. The Jones board/binding quality is noticeably better than the rest with comfort and attention to detail paramount. I’m a Jones fan and customer for the rest of my days on the snow. Thank You Jones!!!!

I'm in love with the FreeCarver

I'm in love with this board. I really wanted to step up with my carving game and I have to say that I'm practically riding this board every day now. second year on it. I ride 95% groomers on the Alps, perfect in the early morning but also at the end of the day, when I'm tired and the slope is not longer at its best, it is still a lot of fun.

Up your carving game 2000 percent!

This board makes me feel like a super hero. It's like Konami code for carving.

Craving turkey

Im 5’10 190 I ride the 6000 in pnw with old ass burton freestyle bindings , and vans liner-less boots. …. Look man this board is all seek a destroy…. That’s it !!!! U will 100% leave the mountain trails worse then u found them !!… kills pow, kills ice , kills groom, kills banked salmon . I’d only get the 9000 if u ride a mountain with super wide groomers a now crowds other wise the 6000 is your game !
