Based in Truckee, California, Jones Snowboards was founded in 2009 by legendary big mountain snowboarder Jeremy Jones. A lifelong passion for snowboard design led him to craft the ultimate quiver of snowboards, splitboards and technical outerwear.

Award-winning snowboarder, environmentalist and entrepreneur, Jeremy Jones is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished action sports athletes of all time.
Jeremy grew up in the United States' New England region and started his snowboard career as a racer before switching his focus to freeriding – taking his technical riding skills to the steeps of Alaska and beyond. Three decades of bold first descents and standard-setting foot-powered backcountry snowboarding expeditions around the world earned Jeremy eleven Big Mountain Rider of the Year awards from Snowboarder Magazine, and a 2013 ""Adventurer of The Year"" accolade from National Geographic. Adept at sharing his adventures and insight in film and in print, Jeremy has starred in over fifty snowboard movies including his signature film trilogy - DEEPER, FURTHER and HIGHER - and his two books - No Words For The Way Down and The Art of Shralpinism.
In 2007, Jeremy founded Protect Our Winters (POW), a global cause uniting the winter sports community against climate change. He was named a Champion of Change by President Barack Obama in 2013 for his work with the non-profit organization.

I have been all in from the beginning – hiking resorts before they allowed snowboards at age 9, non-stop drives from Cape Cod to Jackson Hole in high school to score first tram of the year, hiking all night to earn a first descent at dawn. Becoming a pro snowboarder was the only career I ever pursued. There was no back-up plan.
Now 40 years after stepping on my first snowboard I feel blessed to have been given the opportunities I have. During this journey, I have often focused on the performance of my equipment. How can we make this board better? Rail an edge harder? Weigh less without sacrificing durability? I started Jones Snowboards to develop the highest performance all-mountain equipment on the market – snowboards, splitboards and outerwear that reflect everything I’ve learned both on the snow and in the factory. Every product we produce is born from my passion. Our designs mirror the performance demands of my riding matched with the environmental demands of my conscience.
Jones Snowboards is a natural evolution for me. Snowboarding is not my job, it’s my life.
