I am a young rider from Europe, I recently purchased the jones youth flagship and it performed really well I got it in a 147 and it had amazing performance on piste and it had great but not as good performance in powder(I got about 2-3 foot of light powder) would recommend for an intermediate youth rider and think that it is definite buy for any rider who wants an all mountain board that performs well on both piste and powder

The board itself is great and has been a nice upgrade for my 9yo from his first board, this is his 3rd season. The camber has been a nice addition for carving, the rocker and setback has made powder riding much easier and the spoon tips have been catch free. The sintered base has been a noticeable improvement over extruded and has reduced the challenge of making it to the lift and crossing flats.

What isn’t great is the reference stance. No idea what Jones is thinking making a youth board with 21. 2” reference stance. He rides the board at the narrowest stance possible with no room to adjust back for deep days. A refence stance of 17-18” would make sense for these board and is the reason for a 4 star review.

My son is 10, 28kg, 135cm tall. He is riding the flagship youth in 142cm and he is rippin´! He plays with the board, riding it hard on the edge and jumps a little bit. The edge is so aggressive he says. He is so happy with the board.

However. the stance width is too wide for me. I am 4'10', 95LB but have shorter legs.I have Youth Prodigy 130 and the stance width is fine. I have requested exchage or refound if possible but I have not heard from you yet.

This board is super fun and playful. It has great float in the powder. It holds an edge super good.

Great board for small adult. ( 5 feet 1 in/ 120 lbs). Have 152 cm.
Took the board out on a 4-6” powder day. Great float and glide.
Great control and carving on a packed powder day. I bought this board for powder days but it’s going to be my go to board on any day.

Due to his mmm growing so fast, my 11th old son has been on the typical twin tip rental boards. We ride steeps, pow, park, everything, and it was becoming obvious the rental was holding him back.

The first day he rode this board, it was like a new level had been unlocked. He was absolutely charging in all conditions, floating across pow, laying carves on groomers, and doing it all with much more control. I know he’ll outgrow this in a couple seasons, but the improvement and stoke I’ve seen from him is worth it.

Small adult here riding this board. As a 4’10, 106# Human riding icy Vermont mountains, I appreciate that Jones is making boards to suit heavy riding for both youth and small adults. Here are a few highlights:

-Shape is directionally favored but it still rides switch well when needed
-Strong edge hold in icy steeps, some occasional sliding but that’s more due to complete lack of snow and rider fatigue
-Damp enough over crud, though it doesn’t feel like mush
-Playful enough flex for quick maneuverability in trees and the occasional nose roll
-Good float in powder (when it happens) especially if set back, though it takes a little more work to keep it afloat (compared to mind expander, for example)
-An additional bonus- graphics and colors are relatively unisex and are similar to adult models- aka my board doesn’t look like a child’s even though I occasionally get mistaken for one

Overall I love this board, it’s showing some definite signs of wear, but construction is solid even after riding over things no one should (it’s New England- what do you expect?)

Thanks Jones for making solid boards in a good size for those of us on the fringe. I’m sure it’s great for stronger/heavier kiddos, though for us tiny adults, I’m glad to finally have options beyond another park board!

Awesome board the powder performance is Great and also dose very well on the rest of the mountain one problem is the top not super durable chips very easily
