Details

Shape & profile

A snowboard's outline defines many of its characteristics, from how it turns or floats in powder to its performance riding switch. Shape affects everything from the width and taper of the nose and tail, to the position of the stance relative to the board's center.

Shape image

[Shape]

Directional Twin

Twin-inspired shape with subtle directional tuning. A slightly longer nose improves float and handling in variable terrain when riding forwards, without limiting its switch performance. The go-to shape for all-mountain riders who want the best of both worlds.

[Pr0file]

CamRock

Versatile all-mountain profile featuring camber between the bindings with equal amounts of rocker in the nose and tail. Camber delivers pop and precise edge control, while the rocker adds forgiveness, smoother turn initiation and better float in soft snow.

[Tracti0n_tech]

High Traction Tech

High Traction Tech features three bumps per edge (front binding, board center, back binding). The middle bump is bigger than the outside bumps for better grip and control.

3D Contour Base

Shape image

Surf-inspired shaping for next-level performance.

Inspired by the rounded bottom contours of surfboards, 3D Contour Bases are designed to make every run smoother and every turn more effortless by reducing the drag of the board tips. 3D Contour Bases enhance glide and improve float, helping you ride faster and with better flow. Learn more

[3d_pr0file]

Medium 3D Contour Base

3D Contour Base tuned for all-terrain featuring 4mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 0-4mm of spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts just before the contact points.

How it works

Riding flat
Riding flat

When riding flat, the spoon bevel on the edges is not engaged, but it does help smoothly deflect snow away from the nose of the board.

Turn initiation
Turn initiation

As you begin to make a turn, the spoon bevel helps you smoothly roll the board on to your egde with less friction and edge drag.

Mid turn
Mid turn

In the middle of a turn, camber and Traction Tech keep you locked onto your egde in the center of the board while the spoon bevel reduces the "plow effect" of your nose and tail edges.

WOW! This is the one.

I never leave reviews for things but I was thoroughly impressed with this board and felt the need to review it as I was unsure of my purchase originally based on online feedback, and am now thrilled with it after actually using it! I consider myself intermediate, totally happy on greens and blues and can survive a black but don't care to ride them. I was worried this board would be too much for me. I have a Capita DOA and a GNU Gremlin, then got this and I don't think I will use the other two ever again (maybe the Gremlin on a very icy day living in the Northeast). The Mtn Twin Pro was fast, maneuverable, and was just a blast to ride. More nimble then the gremlin- i could tell the difference between the wide board and this, and more stable at speed and smooth than the DOA. Really happy with this purchase. if you are considering it, just do it! 5'11 185 lbs, size 9 boots went 160 and it feels great!

Hey Justin. Thanks a lot for taking the time to leave such a detailed review, especially since you don’t usually write them! It’s great to hear how the board performed for you in real conditions and even better that it exceeded your expectations compared to other boards you’ve ridden. Sounds like the balance of stability at speed and agility really clicked with your riding style :) Your feedback on the sizing and how it compares to your DOA and Gremlin is also super valuable, we appreciate it. Keep shredding!

I would buy it over and over again. 👌

I have a size 9 boot, 173cm in height and 64kgs and I fmride the 2025 Mountain Twin Pro 154.

This is a board I would buy over and over again if it comes down to it. This is a board that I trust with my safety and life. It is stable at high speeds, maneuverable, light and poppy.

It can carve, boost side hits and has solid landing gear. This is the fastest board in my 3 board quiver. 👌

Hi Josh,

We’re stoked to hear that the Mountain Twin Pro has earned its spot as the fastest board in your quiver and that it's handling everything from high-speed carves to side-hit boosts. Thanks for the review :)

This board is your lifeline!

The Ultra Mountain Twin may have changed its name to the Mountain Twin Pro (certainly not any less of a mouthful) but this is still the same board I fell in love with years ago. My current stack of them include the 54,57,and 60. So right as I decided to grab another 57 I decided to switch it up and try the 56W. What an absolute blast this board is. The 54, and 57 are great but boot out when I try to really lay out a carve. That’s why I got the 60 was to buy myself a little more width for carving. It works great but honestly the 160 should be sold with an air horn as it’s speed does not play well with others. I wanted a tighter turning radius and this 56W has delivered in spades! So much pop you can easily ollie over random gapers, still enough speed to outrun the red coats, and it is more than nimble enough edge to edge to get high score at the game of human slalom. Total barrel of monkeys kind of board. Couldn’t give it higher praise. If you’re out there writing big checks all day, this board has your back.

Hi there,

Thank you for leaving such a glowing review of the Men's Mountain Twin Pro Snowboard! We're so glad to hear that you have been enjoying your collection of boards and that the 56W has exceeded your expectations. It sounds like it's the perfect combination of speed, pop, and agility for your riding style. We hope it continues to be your lifeline on the mountain. Happy shredding!

Amazing board

Really love this snowboard, my last snowboard was older than me so Im really glad that I got this amazing piece of art. It's stiff compared to my last snowboard which was more freestyle and was less stiff, but this is actually really good for me, for now I think it one of the best board that I got to ride

Hi there,

This will be sixth Ultra Mountain Twin/Mountain

This will be sixth Ultra Mountain Twin/Mountain Twin Pro to date. Settling in on another 157 for this season. I have a 154 (second one) a 157 (second one) and a 160. Thinking of a new 157 for this year as that seems to be the “just right” size for me. The board has a new school construction and you can feel it in how dynamically it handles multiple conditions yet an old school toughness and stability. I also have a fleet of three Ultracrafts for really deep days although the new 160 MTP I grabbed last year does pretty well in all but the deepest of days. If you like twins that keep nudging you to go faster and bigger, you’ll enjoy this board.

Daily Driver

This is my daily driver. Lightweight, stiff, powerful, aggressive, and poppy. I’ve ridden this board in all conditions. It does well in hard pack and slush, but it thrives in fresh snow and has more float than you’d think. It has quite the landing gear into deep pow. I’ve put this board through hell. I’ve smoked rocks and barely made a mark. I snap boards almost every season and this thing made it through. Love the Mountain Twin Pro! For the aggressive all terrain freestyle rider.

The Mountain Twin Pro is one of my favorite

The Mountain Twin Pro is one of my favorite boards in the Jones line. It's super reactive and responsive at high speeds while helping you stomp big landings. Not only is it good in the park but an awesome Free ride board too. I have been competing on this board for free ride for the last 7 years even winning a World Championship on it.

Dialed board for everyday riding. Plenty of pop perfect for ripping groomers hitting sidehits and the occasional lap through the park.

Hi Will,

'Dialed' is the perfect word for the Mountain Twin Pro! We're glad to hear it’s giving you the pop you need for those side hits while still being a reliable daily driver for the groomers and the park.

Freestyle, freeriding beast

This is my daily driver. The all terrain, all slashing, all feeling, all landing, beast. Stiff enough to stomp and charge through all conditions with enough playfulness to allow me to have fun and trick off natural features. I consider myself an ambidextrous rider, love to land and ride switch often so I prefer the twin profile but need a stiff, chunder charger to handle my riding style. This is it. The freestyle freeriders dream weapon. If you want power, playfulness and durability, pick one of these up ASAP. You won't regret it.

Six Speed Turbo

You remember the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds?" A timeless classic featuring peak Nicholas Cage and Angelina Jolie (pre "Brangelina"). If not, a quick summary: Cage's character, Randall "Memphis" Raines is a retired car thief who is forced back in to high-stakes heists to save his brother Kip from a life of murderous crime. He has to steal 50 cards in 24 hours including a 1967 Mustang Shelby GT500.

This board feels a lot like that 1967 Mustang Shelby GT500. It might not be easy to get - you may have to work a few more hours at your job, you may have you lie to your significant other about the price you paid for it, you may have to rekindle a romance with Sway, a bartender and ex-lover from your car jacking days, to be able to lock this board down without any drama - but when you do - it'll be all worth it.

Do what you need to do to add this board to your quiver. It's got pop like the first sip of an ice cold Mtn Dew. It's got a base so fast that it makes it hard to strap in. Only way around that is to add some FASE binding to it - makes strapping in a bit quicker. Do all of it, make it happen, be irresponsible, you're going to die one day anyways!
