Built for full throttle freeriding and freestyle

Slicing turns down ridiculously steep faces and spinning tricks off massive cliff drops doesn’t just take talent, it takes confidence in your abilities and trust in your equipment. You gotta believe you can stomp and that your board set-up is ready for anything.

The Howler is Elena and Victor’s ultimate freeride board. It’s purpose built to give these two phenomenally talented athletes the confidence they need to ride high stakes lines that blur the boundaries between freestyle and freeriding.

Matching a mid-stiff flex with a unique full camber profile that extends the apex of the camber past the back inserts is what gives the Howler such stomping power. The extra camber in the tail makes the Howler super poppy on takeoff and incredibly stable on touch down.

Having grown up in the halfpipe I love full camber boards that have a stiff tail you can pop off and push into on landings. The Howler’s tail is perfect for stomping airs off cliffs because it pops you back up if you land back seat.

– Elena Hight

The Howler’s construction features ultralight Koroyd in the nose section of the wood core to decrease spin weight and BCOMP Carbon Flax stringers under both bindings to suck up chatter and add torsional stiffness. 3D Flip Tips improve float and help the nose and tail slice through variable snow.

The Howler’s blunted and minimally tapered shape offers the float benefits of taper without compromising switch riding performance. The shape also maximises effective edge length allowing the Howler to be ridden true-to-size. Most days Elena rides the Women’s Howler 148cm, but she’ll bump up to the 151cm when she’s charging lines in Alaska or riding super deep snow.

Hard charging girls who ride lines and are getting into freestyle will love the Women’s Howler. The flex and camber profile allow you to ride a smaller board that is more maneuverable, but has the same pop and response as a bigger board.
