All new Freecarver series
Built to carve
Welcome to a new era of all -mountain carving.
Snowboard racing and carving are in the original Jones DNA. Jeremy Jones was a World Cup snowboard racer in the 90’s before he hung up his hard boots to focus all his attention on freeriding.
Jeremy’s experience riding race boards has influenced the Jones board line since our debut collection.
In our quest to expand the Jones board line in unique and innovative directions, we’re excited to debut two new models that fully express Jeremy’s racing roots. The new Freecarver 6000s and Freecarver 9000s are both directional freeride boards designed for getting on rail and locking into turns like a freight train barrelling down the tracks.
Carve the deepest turns of your life.
What makes the Freecarver models so unique is that they feature a tip-to-tail full camber profile matched with a tapered directional shape and a 3D Contour Base. The full camber profile creates a long effective edge for maximum turn power, and the tapered shape + 3D Contour Base allow you to effortlessly roll onto your edge.
The biggest difference between the shapes of the Freecarver 6000s and the Freecarver 9000s is sidecut length. The Freecarver 6000s has a six-meter sidecut which is ideal for snapping short slalom turns and carving around tight trees. The Freecarver 9000s has a nine-meter sidecut which is perfect for ripping monster GS turns and opening it up in big terrain.
Pick your ride and buckle up.
Whether you love to carve or you’re learning to carve both the Freecarver 6000 and 9000 will let you turn down a mountain in a whole new way. The model that’s best for you will depend on your riding style. Are you a slasher or a straight liner?

No sacrifice all-mountain performance
The Freecarvers love to rip perfect corduroy, but they’re also ready to shred any terrain or snow condition the mountain throws at you. Both models feature the same tech and materials as our premium freeride boards so you can charge just as fast off-piste as on-piste, and blast through corn, crust or pow.
- Super damp Ash Veneer topsheet
- Sustainably made Basalt stringers that suck up chatter
- Dual Radius tip and tail profile for extra float in pow
- Traction Tech for added grip in firm snow
- Hyper fast and durable Sintered 9900 base
The Freecarver will be my go-to board for those hard pack days in between pow cycles when you just want to ride fast around the mountain.

Responsibly made performance
We strive to produce gear that balances the three founding pillars of our design ethos - performance, sustainability and innovation.
Built with 100% solar power
As of May 2020, all Jones snowboards and splitboards are made with 100% solar power. Switching our snowboard and splitboard production to 100% solar made a 89% reduction in CO2 compared to non-solar powered production.
Bio Resin
Bio Resin is a bio-based epoxy made with 27% plant-based carbon instead of petroleum-based carbon. The organic raw materials used to make bio-resin are co-products or waste products of plant-based industrial processes.
100% recycled ABS
Since 2014, all of our snowboards and splitboards have been built with recycled ABS sidewalls. We've used 847 miles of sidewalls since switching to recycled ABS.
Wend Bio Wax
Jones boards are ready to shred straight out of the shop and are factory waxed with Wend natural wax, a plant blend and biodegradable wax that is also non-toxic.
Sustainably sourced woodcores
All Jones woodcores are made with sustainably sourced wood. Every piece of wood we use in every board comes from a responsibly managed forest.
