The journey to make groundbreaking products parallels a quest to find solitude in the mountains. To leave the tracks behind and make innovative gear requires courage, commitment and humility. Failure is often more common than success when trying to do things that have never been done. And just like summit attempts, some product ideas must be abandoned along the way. The knowledge gained in failure is beneficial and makes a successful summit bid or new product launch feel that much sweeter.
Our dedication to developing game-changing gear reflects our belief that the world doesn’t need more products – the world needs better products. Too much modern day gear is disposable and made without regard to its impact on the planet. We strive to do better and make gear that balances the three founding pillars of our design ethos – performance, responsibility and innovation.
During development, we often hit only two out of three – a high-performance topsheet material with a heavy carbon footprint, or an ultralight fabric that might not live up to daily use and abuse in the mountains. Navigating these challenges, and the inevitable defeats, is the foundation of our Test, Tweak, Repeat design process. New product concepts are conceived and tested on skintracks and chairlifts around the world, but new models are only born when they meet the rigorous quality standards that define our brand.

High-quality aerospace-grade repurposed carbon fiber engineered into custom snowboard stringers to enhance board response, suck up chatter and deliver exceptional pop.
ampliTex™ Carbon/Flax Stringers
Hybrid stringers featured in our boards made by Swiss bio-based materials company, Bcomp. They specialize in natural fiber reinforcements that deliver lightweight strength, pop and vibration damping.
Re-Up™ Tech
Giving snowboards a second ride. A Jones exclusive technology, that recycles dead snowboards and upcycles the materials into performance stringers.

Socially responsible factories
All of our outerwear apparel is made in socially responsible factories that are Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) and Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) certified. These certifications guarantee that the people who make our apparel receive fair salaries and work in a safe and clean working environment.
OEKO-TEX® and/or bluesign® certified mills
All of our fabrics come from OEKO-TEX® and/or bluesign® certified mills. Textiles and fabrics with these certifications are shown to be free of harmful chemicals and safe for human use.
Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified
All our hoodies and tees are made with Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified fabrics. GOTS fabrics meet internationally recognized environmental and socially responsible manufacturing standards for organic textiles.
All of our outerwear & technical apparel is built using recycled fabrics
Most are 100% recycled. Using recycled fabrics helps to divert waste from landfill for longer and reduces our reliance on virgin fabrics.
Recycled Down
All of our down is sourced by ALLIED Feather + Down and is 100% recycled, 750+ fill power that is upcycled from sleeping bags and jackets.
Organic Cotton
We use only organic cotton in our lifestyle apparel. Organic cotton uses less water and fewer chemicals than conventionally grown cotton.
