The Orion binding is made for fun focused freeriders who are looking for a comfortable and durable freeride binding with a freestyle friendly medium soft flex. All Jones bindings include a mounting disc compatible with traditional 4x4 inserts, 2x4, and the EST/Channel mounting system.

Comfort Foam foot pillow

Full length EVA foam footbed that maximizes binding comfort while minimizing foot fatigue. The 3D molded footbed surface offers supreme traction for any boot tread pattern and prevents snow build-up.

Ultra-strong levels made out of Zytel Fiber Composite material with strong stainless steel springs and axis. Triple action ratchet increase speed of entry.

Not really progressive highback, more like just two zoned one

I had the chance to mount them on to my Jones Stratos, but havent gotten the chance to ride them yet. The highback is not really 'progressive', from what it seems its just two zoned, stiff at the bottom and soft at the top, and yeah, its quite flexible at the top. The ratchets are REALLY solid, especially for someone coming off rentals. I got size L and have Burton Ruler BOA boots sized EU 43,5/US 10. 5 and they fit, but I would say its a bit iffy. Like size 44 and up would fit perfectly no doubt though.
