These pants are super solid and well made. I was a bit worried that there would be some corners cut being that it's made from recycled materials but everything about this exudes rugged durability and exceptional breathability and water resistance. I've been using these for about 6 months now or about 50 sessions snowboarding and I've never once had to think about my outer layer. Simply just reliable which it should be.
These were so solid I also just picked up the Shralpinist Stretch 3L jacket. I have solid trust in Jones now to keep me comfy on the mountain.
Sizing: I got a large, I'm ~5'11 and do use a belt. I prefer slightly larger so I can layer, move freely, and I enjoy a slightly oversized look. There is a velcro sizing tab that you can pull to tighten the waist which should work for most people.
Warmth: This is primarily a shell so your layering skills will save you here, but I've had handfuls of 0 F days and can get away with a base layer and sweatpants under this. Totally fine.
Quality of Life: Pockets are nice and deep. Generally keep my phone, portable charger, resort cards... I've never thought about needing more pockets than there are already on this pant so good there.
