Nomad Trim-To-Fit By Size Skins with Quick Tension Tail Clips are made for backcountry touring in any snow condition. The skin fibers are 70% Mohair / 30% Synthetic Nylon which offers balanced glide, grip and durability. This skin model is ideal for non-Jones splitboards. They require trimming to the length and width of your split, and the Universal Tail Clip must be attached using rivets.

Jones skins are treated with Ever Dry anti-glopping treatment. The coating keeps the skins from absorbing moisture and prevents snow/ice build-up under the skin.
Grip tech
Grip Tech skins are made with a special material that works well under dynamic tension and has a high resistance to twisting and abrasion.
Rubber safer skins
Jones skins are laminated with a rubber backing that prevents skins from getting waterlogged. Drier skins are safer as they are less likely to lose adhesion to your skis in critical situations.
70 % Mohair / 30% nylon
Jones Nomad and Nomad Pro climbing skins are both made with a blend of 70% mulesing free natural mohair fiber and 30% synthetic nylon. The mohair offers unmatched glide and a supple skin feel while the nylon improves grip and water repellency.
Universal tip clip
The Universal Tip Clip securely fastens the skin to the tip of the split ski. It is compatible with any board shape and all splitboard brands.

Universal tail clip
The Universal Tail Clip is keeps skins locked on in the most challenging snow conditions. The clip anchors on both the inner and outer tail edge and provides adjustable skin tension using the attached stretcher strap. Compatible with all splitboard brands.
Best for non-Jones splitboards
These skins feature the Universal Tip Connector and Universal Tail Clip. The Universal Tail Clip does NOT come attached to the skins. The customer/shop will need to trim the skins and attach therivets on the Universal Tail Clip.

Best for Jones splitboards
Pre-Cut Skins feature the Universal Tip Connector and Quick Tension Tail Clip. The Quick Tension Tail Clip is designed to fit all 2017 and newer Jones Splitboards (except Youth Solution).
Pre-Cut Skins do not need to be trimmed.
The Quick Tension Tail Clip comes attached to the skin and only requires a simple one-time fit adjustment.
Trim-to-fit by size
Best for DYI on Jones splitboards and non-Jones splitboards
New Jones 22/23 Trim-To-Fit By Size Skins feature the Universal Tip Connector and both the Quick Tension Tail Clip and Universal Tail Clip. Both clips are easily swappable. The Quick Tension Tail Clip is designed to fit all 2017 and newer Jones Splitboards (except Youth Solution).
Trim-To-Fit By Size Skins need to be trimmed.
